Understand charts, periods and daily averages

See what the statistics measure before comparing your record.

Open Statistics

Tap the chart icon at the bottom-right of the main screen. Choose a Week, Month or Year view.

What the bars mean

The Week view groups entries by day. Month groups by week. Year groups by month. A weekly bar is not one day's intake.

The goal reference scales for the selected view. It is a visual reference rather than a reconstruction of every historical daily goal. Use the main screen to check an individual day's meals and goal.

Statistics with protein bars and period comparisons.
The view determines whether bars represent days, weeks or months.

Daily average and totals

The summary's daily average divides all recorded protein by the number of days with entries. Days without entries are shown separately, so this is not an average across every calendar day since you started.

The comparison card uses this and the previous week, month or year. Small differences may be described as about the same. Incomplete tracking affects every chart and average; these reflect your saved record.

Starting over

There is no separate reset-statistics command that keeps all presets. Statistics follow the entries you save or delete. If something looks wrong, contact me with the selected view, date and expected total.
